Experiential learning this month provided students with valuable real-world exposure through thoughtfully designed summer programmes and the TCS SDG initiative and PYP Project . This hands-on approach encouraged active participation, strengthened critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and deepened understanding by connecting practical experiences with reflection and classroom learning.
Recognising achievements plays a key role in nurturing a positive and motivating school environment. Celebrating student success boosts morale and fosters a culture of excellence, inspiration, and continuous growth across the school community.
Creative Musings offers a platform for students to express their imagination through poetry, stories, and reflections. It encourages creativity, nurtures emerging voices, and celebrates the art of expression through words and thoughtful ideas.
We are delighted to present our “Art of the Month” feature, highlighting a carefully selected artwork that celebrates creativity and artistic expression across a range of mediums, including painting, printmaking, ceramics, carpentry, and textiles. We invite our readers to explore the artwork and appreciate its distinctive themes, craftsmanship, and visual impact.
Summer camps are not just about fun activities for children; they create memories that last a lifetime. Moments like jumping into a lake for the first time or laughing around a campfire with new friends help children discover new facets of themselves. In our busy world of schedules and screens, camps provide a safe space for children to be free, to be creative, and to be accepted for who they are.
At camp, children explore new interests and try activities they may have never experienced before, such as painting, climbing, or singing. These opportunities help them overcome their fears and build confidence. Even small acts of courage can ignite lifelong passions and help them understand what truly excites them.
The camp environment also plays an important role. It is relaxed and free from academic pressure, allowing children to learn through experience. They collaborate, solve problems, and celebrate small achievements, making learning both enjoyable and meaningful.
Summer camps also help develop social skills. Children interact with peers from diverse backgrounds and learn important skills such as communication, teamwork, and leadership. These friendships often boost confidence and create a strong sense of belonging.
Camps also promote independence. Being away from home encourages children to make decisions, take responsibility, and adapt to new situations, thereby developing resilience and self-esteem.
Many camps are set in natural surroundings, where activities like hiking and stargazing help reduce stress and improve focus. Camps also provide a break from technology, allowing children to connect more deeply with people and their environment.
Summer camps are more than just a seasonal experience. They help children grow, discover themselves, and find passions that can shape their future.

I close my eyes and in my mind,
Picture a bright and vivid land.
But when I open those dreamy shutters,
I see filthy objects on the sand.
The garbage, supposed to be
In bins—blue, green, and red—
The cause of animals’ death,
Lies on green grass instead.
The colourful scenery is now reduced
To piles of white and grey.
This seems like nature’s unwanted necklace,
Yet it is forcefully adorned every day.
