International Yoga Day 2026

The school observed International Yoga Day 2026 with great enthusiasm, highlighting the transformative power of yoga in promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and emotional balance. Guided by this year's theme, "Yoga for Healthy Ageing," the celebration encouraged students to embrace yoga as a lifelong practice for healthy living and holistic wellness.

Adding a unique dimension to the celebration, the occasion also coincided with World Music Day on 21 June. Through the inspiring presentation "Nada Yogi – The Union of Music, Movement, and Mind," students showcased a captivating fusion of live music and artistic yoga, reflecting the timeless connection between sound, movement, and inner consciousness. The performance beautifully drew inspiration from the sacred sound "Om" (Omkara) and the philosophy of Lord Shiva as the Adi Yogi and the Lord of Nada (Divine Sound).

The programme served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of mindfulness, harmony, and well-being, inspiring students to adopt yoga as a way of life and work towards a healthier, happier future.
