Experiential Learning

Field Trip to Saveetha Engineering College

On 7 March 2026, the students of Grade 11 embarked on an enriching field visit to Saveetha Engineering College, gaining valuable exposure to emerging technologies and innovations in engineering.
The visit commenced with an engaging demonstration of the humanoid robot Tienkung, where faculty members explained its functioning through advanced sensors and intelligent systems. Students then explored mobile robotics through a hands-on session, coding in Python to control a robotic car along a track—an experience that strengthened their understanding of programming and automation.
The learning continued with an introduction to drone technology, including its operation and control mechanisms, followed by an interactive drone simulation. Students also gained insights into the fabrication of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), understanding the design and production of electronic circuits. A session on 3D printing further familiarized them with design software, materials, and the printing process.
The visit concluded with an informative session on renewable energy, highlighting its importance in building a sustainable future.
Overall, the field trip offered a comprehensive learning experience, exposing students to robotics, coding, electronics, and sustainable technologies, while also providing valuable insights into future career pathways in engineering.

A Joyful Day of Learning Beyond the Classroom

Our Montessori children enjoyed a delightful field trip to Saveetha Agricultural Farm, Kuthambakkam, where they explored the beauty of nature up close. From swaying coconut trees to lush vegetable gardens, every moment sparked curiosity and excitement.
They observed butterflies fluttering around, discovered jackfruit trees, and interacted with farm animals like cows and hens.
The experience offered meaningful hands-on learning, fostering discovery and a deeper connection with nature—truly bringing learning to life the Montessori way.

The Pupil Quest Culmination: A Celebration of Talent and Growth

The Pupil Quest Culmination was a vibrant celebration of student skill, passion, and perseverance. It provided a platform for students to showcase their progress in diverse para-academic fields, including sports, performing arts, and creative disciplines such as fine arts and craftsmanship.

The campus came alive with energetic displays across football, basketball, throwball, tennis, table tennis, gymnastics, archery, taekwondo, athletics, silambam, yoga, and chess, highlighting agility, precision, and strategic thinking. The performing arts segment captivated the audience with graceful dance performances, soulful music, and rhythmic drumming. The art exhibition, culminating in Chithira Punaivu, featured an impressive collection of paintings, ceramics, weavings, photography, and carpentry, reflecting the creativity of our students.

More than a showcase, the event celebrated each student’s journey of persistence, exploration, and self-discovery. It embodied the essence of The Pupil Quest—where choice-driven learning nurtures confidence, creativity, and mastery—leaving students inspired to pursue their passions with renewed enthusiasm.

Road Safety in Action

As part of the Road Safety Patrol Programme, Ms. Mithila and Ms. Anshika participated in an experiential Road Safety Boot Camp held at IIT Chennai.
Through interactive and hands-on learning experiences, they enhanced their practical understanding of road safety and responsible citizenship.
This initiative marks a commendable step towards building safer roads and nurturing responsible young leaders.
