A Symphony of Culture: The Pupil International School's Grand Onam Festival

The harvest festival of Kerala, Onam was celebrated with vibrant cultural fervor at The Pupil International School, hosted by Form 5 students. The festivities commenced with a special guest, King Mahabali  being welcomed to witness how his people marked Onam. King Mahabali shared his story, and students sang "Maaveli naadu vannidum kaalam," emphasizing equality and happiness during his reign.The event featured graceful thiruvathira dance performances , a skit illustrating the diverse flavors of the traditional feast 'Onasadhya' , and discussions about Onam traditions like Vallamkali, Pulikali, and Kathakali .The students presented a heartfelt farewell to King Mahabali with an energetic boat song dance, enthusiastically joined by the audience with the true spirit of Onam. The diligent preparation by Form 5 students resulted in a memorable day enjoyed by all.
