Financial Literacy Program

The students of MYP years 4 and 5 attended an enthralling and educational workshop on the subject of finance and its related topics. The session was power-packed with information, enlightenment, and humour by Mr Srivathsan, a prolific finance pundit and chartered accountant who has hands-on experience with the financial and economical world. The students learnt about the banking systems, types of interest and their uses, the value of money with time, businesses, and commerce. Along with all these units, this workshop enlightened the students about the risks, opportunities, and strategies in various sectors of the economical world. They learnt how to manage our economics and home finances in a very simple yet effective way. The program gave an insight into the life of a Chartered accountant and the many opportunities provided in this field. The Financial Literacy Program was an essential workshop that opened our eyes and edified us on the vast world of finance. Along with that it also taught us enough to become our own accountants and take real-time decisions with practicality. Mr Srivathsan’s teaching skills and compilation of a huge subject definitely yielded into a fecund, exuberant, and riveting workshop.
