Held every year on 21stMarch, World Poetry Day celebrates one of humanity’s most treasured forms of cultural and linguistic expression and identity.
This year, 2022, we the Pupilites, celebrated this day with great fervour. The purpose of world poetry day was to recall the role of poetry in the survival of ancient languages.
Our MYP students enthralled us with a multitude of activities and performances. From enacting the most renowned Shakespeare’s play “As you like it” to make the audience go buzz with their intriguing literary quizzes, our students enchanted us! It was a great delight to be a part of this event.
