“Art is a way of recognizing oneself” - Louise Bourgeois
An art workshop was organized for the students of Form 7,8, and 9 for two days in the first week of December. On Day 1 the students were asked to come up with their own unique and creative ideas to transform the school walls into a vibrant representation of their imagination. They spent the day coming up with ideas, planning their artwork, painting the walls, and making memories. On Day 2, the students completed their paintings, experimented with terracotta, and attempted to work on the pottery wheel.
This was truly a refreshing and therapeutic experience learning a new skill and feeling a sense of achievement while working as a team and collaborating with each other.
