‘Medicines can cure diseases but it is only a Doctor who can cure a patient’- The Doctors’ Day celebrations at The Pupil International School began with this famous quote by Carl Jung. The program began with a speech by the students outlining the significance of the day. They sang a song paying tribute to doctors. The chief guest of the day, Dr. Saveetha Rajesh presided over the celebration and spoke about the indispensable service that Doctors render to society and motivated students to take up this noble profession and serve the community. The students of Form 8 presented Dr. Saveetha with a card with a special message of thanks and gratitude for the precious role played by Doctors in our life, lauding the heroes who wore suits and not capes.
