International Olympic Day is celebrated on 23rd June 2022 across the world to promote sports and health. The theme for this year’s International Olympic Day denotes ‘Together for a peaceful world’. The theme celebrates the power of sports to bring people together and to contribute to a world full of solidarity and peace.
The celebrations began with a short talk in the assembly on the significance of the day. The students of MYP Form 6 to 9 depicted the Olympic rings through a colourful formation. This was followed by running events conducted for the PYP students of Form 1 to Form 5, which witnessed lively participation and loud cheering.
The celebrations concluded with an energetic aerobics routine set to foot-tapping music by the students of MYP.
