The Pupil Saveetha Eco School successfully conducted the Student Council Election for the academic year 2025–2026 on 20th June 2025. This important event in the school calendar provided students with a meaningful opportunity to develop leadership skills, embrace responsibilities, and engage in democratic practices.
Under the guidance of a dedicated committee of teachers, the candidates underwent a structured screening process designed to assess and nurture their leadership potential and prepare them for roles in student governance.
The campaign phase was carried out with great enthusiasm. Candidates created visually appealing posters, delivered compelling presentations during morning assemblies, and conducted interactive classroom sessions. These efforts promoted active student involvement and strengthened the sense of school spirit.
The election concluded with a secure and transparent online voting process, ensuring fairness and encouraging students to make informed decisions.
A total of 35 students from Grade 11 contested for eight key leadership positions, which included:
- Head Boy and Head Girl
- Cultural Secretary and Sports Captain
- House Captains for Aqua, Terra, Ventus, and Ignis
Nearly 1300 students from Grades 8 to 12 participated in the voting process, reflecting commendable enthusiasm and a strong sense of civic responsibility.
