Global Perspectives: Exploring Cultures and Systems with Mr. Madhu Manickam

On October 11, 2023, The Pupil Saveetha Eco School hosted a captivating guest lecture for Grade 2 students under the theme, "How We Organize Ourselves." The central idea explored was that "Countries are systems that facilitate collaboration toward common goals, emphasizing the importance of understanding global characteristics, cultural diversity, and systems."Our esteemed guest, Mr. Madhu Manickam, a passionate traveler, accomplished photographer, and renowned tourism advisor, engaged the students with his informative session. Mr. Manickam shared his experiences in the Indian Union territory of Ladakh through vivid photographs and videos, offering a detailed explanation of the region's unique characteristics and cultural diversity.The interactive session prompted students to ask insightful questions, fostering a dynamic exchange of knowledge. The guest lecture proved to be an enlightening and engaging learning experience for our young learners.

World Population Day

World Population Day Commemorated with Graphs,Data and Creativity.

In the Math class, Students in Grades VI to VIII explored fascinating aspects of world population.

They researched and prepared engaging content on World Population Day, including facts, themes, and the significance of male and female ratios.

They also delved into urbanization's causes and effects on the global population.

Using bar and line graphs, they visually depicted the top 5 densely populated and least 5 underpopulated countries.

With their creative ideas and thoughts, students actively embraced.

"Inspirational Guest Lecture Embracing Uniqueness & Resolving Conflicts by Clinical Psychologist.

 

On 19th July 2023, a captivating guest lecture was organized for Grade 1 students on the theme "Who We Are," held in the school auditorium. The esteemed guest speaker was Mrs. Sonal, a clinical psychologist and therapist from SRM Medical College, Chennai.

She commenced the session by engaging the students with a fascinating story about a crow, peacock, elephant, and parrot, emphasizing the significance of embracing our uniqueness to coexist harmoniously.

Mrs. Sonal delved into resolving conflicts arising from differences, citing examples like teasing and isolation, providing detailed approaches for resolution. The children actively participated, relating it to their classroom learning, and relished the session.

Congratulations to Pupil students selected for international football completion at SWEDEN

We are thrilled to announce that our school has achieved a remarkable feat in the world of football! Our six talented students have been selected to represent our school and country in the prestigious Gothia Youth International Football Tournament, which welcomed clubs that are members of their FIFA affiliated national association. The tournament, held in SWEDEN, featured 1883 teams, 4801 matches, and 71 nations, making it a thrilling showcase of youthful talent and international camaraderie.
