To mark Conservation Day on 28th July 2025, a vibrant rally was held within the school campus to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our environment. 

Students of Grade 3 participated with great enthusiasm, holding colourful banners and chanting powerful slogans such as “Save Trees, Save Earth!” and “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!” 

The rally began from the classroom corridors and moved through the campus, guided by teachers and staff who ensured discipline and safety throughout. 

Students proudly displayed posters with impactful messages on saving water , planting trees , protecting animals , and reducing pollution .

The energy and dedication of the young participants were appreciated by everyone who witnessed the march.  Their actions served as a reminder that every individual—regardless of age—plays a vital role in conserving natural resources.

This meaningful event inspired students to reflect on their responsibilities as future caretakers of the planet  and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to environmental stewardship. 

We were honoured to host Ms. Deepa Lakshmi, a dedicated environmentalist,  educator, and active member of EXNORA and Team Green, as the guest speaker for our Grade 2 students.

During the interactive session, Ms. Deepa Lakshmi shared valuable insights from her personal journey through simple narratives and real-life examples. She highlighted how small yet meaningful actions—such as  planting trees,  conserving water, and  maintaining cleanliness in our surroundings—can collectively contribute to a significant positive impact on the environment.

Her lifestyle, deeply rooted in sustainability and strongly supported by her family, served as a true inspiration—encouraging our students to adopt environmentally responsible habits and become young stewards of nature.

We were delighted to host Ms. Anitha Bennett, a renowned author, for a special guest lecture for our Grade 5 students. Known for her engaging storytelling, Ms. Anitha narrated an ancient Chinese folktale that captivated the young audience.

The session commenced with a warm welcome, followed by Ms. Anitha’s expressive and clear narration, which vividly brought the characters and settings to life. A unique name given to a child character in the story sparked curiosity among the students and became a fascinating point of discussion, holding their attention throughout.

Our students listened with keen interest and participated enthusiastically in the interactive discussion that followed. Their thoughtful responses reflected both imagination and a deep engagement with the story.

It was a truly memorable literary experience that ignited creativity and curiosity in our young learners.

The Super 100 Science Live Quiz 2025, hosted by The Pupil Saveetha Eco School, was held on 24th July 2025 .This year, the event witnessed an impressive participation of 168 teams from 22 schools, all eager to put their scientific knowledge to the test! 

The day began with a preliminary pen-and-paper round, filled with challenging science questions. The energy in the hall was electric , with even the audience participating in interactive rounds that kept everyone engaged. 

 Leading the event was our dynamic Quiz Master — Mr. Berty Ashley, whose wit and enthusiasm made the quiz lively and inspiring. 

After a series of intense rounds, the top eight teams advanced to the on-stage grand finals, which were marked by quick thinking, strong teamwork, and a shared passion for science.
