Celebrated International Yoga Day with our Montessori and kindergarten students!

On International Yoga Day, our Montessori and kindergarten students immersed themselves in the practice of yoga, exploring asanas and meditation. They discovered inner serenity and harmony, cultivating mindfulness and physical well-being. Experience their journey as they embraced each breath and movement, fostering a holistic approach to health and growth.

Exploring Ladakh : A Guest Lecture with Mr. Madhu Manickam

On June 20th, 2024, Our Grade 2 students participated in a guest lecture with Mr. Madhu Manickam, a passionate traveler, biker, YouTuber, photographer, and tourism advisor, focusing on our theme "Where We Are in Place and Time." The interactive session allowed students to explore Ladakh's geographical features through his detailed photographs and videos. Mr. Manickam's engaging presentation and first-hand experiences provided invaluable insights and knowledge.

The Pupil Saveetha Eco School Celebrates International Yoga Day

On June 21st, The Pupil Saveetha Eco School celebrated International Yoga Day with a revitalizing yoga session. Students from Grades III to VIII and N.I.O.S. participated in an invigorating morning of yoga poses and relaxation techniques. The event embraced the theme "Yoga for Self and Society," celebrating the unity of mind, body, and spirit. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students practiced a variety of yoga poses suitable for all skill levels, emphasizing the connection with their inner selves. The serene atmosphere fostered a sense of harmony and unity among students from diverse backgrounds as they moved and breathed together. 

Parenting Workshop & Orientation Program for Montessori Parents

On June 11, 2024, our school conducted a parenting workshop by Ms. Uma Shanker, Director of Indian Montessori Training Courses – Chennai (IMTC-C), in conjunction with a comprehensive Parent Orientation Program,  Parents were provided with a valuable platform to interact with educators, gain an in-depth understanding of the curriculum and  acquire insights into the forthcoming academic year. This event exemplified our commitment to fostering parental engagement and facilitating a collaborative approach towards holistic student development.
