The tournament showcased remarkable talent from both Under 17 & Under 14 Boys & Girls, who competed fiercely in both league and knockout matches, leaving an indelible mark with their exceptional performances.

FARMING EDUCATION: GRADE 6 STUDENTS EMBRACE FARM LIFE AT FARM GURU!

On Feb 7th 2024 Our Grade 6 students of The Pupil Saveetha eco school at Farm Guru's organic farm trip immersed themselves in the captivating world of nature-friendly farming. Guided by experts, students engaged in composting, crop rotation, ploughing, and nurturing soil health. They experienced the intricate process of transplanting as they walked among the paddy fields, and grasped the concept of crop rotation and intercropping as they navigated the vegetable patches. The experts at Farm Guru imparted valuable knowledge about the importance and sustainability of organic farming, encouraging the students to adopt healthy eating habits and reduce food waste. As a farewell, Farm Guru awarded certificates and their self-harvested rice, etching an unforgettable educational odyssey.

Field Trip to Saveetha Engineering College by Grade 4 Students

Grade 4 students of The Pupil Saveetha Eco School embarked on an educational excursion to Saveetha Engineering College on February 14th, 2024. It was a transformative learning experience under the theme of "How the World Works". The visit was intended to deepen their understanding of energy and its transformations. Exploring mechanical, electrical, renewable energy, and drone technology laboratories, students observed various engine types, hydroelectric setups, and gained insights into circuits and electricity fundamentals. A significant highlight was the renewable energy lab, where students witnessed the functionality of solar panels and a working model of wind turbines harnessing wind energy.

Melodic Moments: Grade 2 Guest Lecture on Music

The Department of Music hosted a guest lecture for our Grade 2 students on February 5th, 2024, featuring vocalists Ms. Srimathi S, Ms. Aarsha Midhun and Mr. Mervin Solomon, and instrumentalists Mr. Mervin Solomon, Mr. Vijay, Mr. Venkataramanan, Mr. Sanjay, and Mr. Prince. Classical nuances and fusion music captivated students, highlighting music's significance in education.
