On August 2nd, 2024, The Pupil Saveetha Eco School proudly hosted The B Quest 2024 In-School Business Challenge, aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among Grades 11 and 12 students.

Students from Grade 11 and 12 at The Pupil Saveetha Eco School, as well as DP Year 1 students from The Pupil International School, competed in teams in this dynamic Shark Tank-inspired event.

Each presentation was rigorously assessed by a distinguished panel of judges, emphasizing presentation quality, skills, and teamwork, and highlighting the outstanding creativity and potential of our young leaders.

Mr.Ragav G: B.E. Mechanical Engineer with expertise in automotive sectors and founder of Primee Silicones and Superpristine India, specializing in specialty oils and FMCG products.

Dr. Sangeetha Padmanabhan : Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies at Saveetha Engineering College, Chennai.

Ms.Pavitra Deepak: Freelance interior designer and stylist at VIVIKTA DESIGNS, with notable projects including Pyramid Mall and Stephen Devassy’s studios.

The judges appreciated the innovative ideas and impressive presentation skills, urging students to keep striving for excellence.

We are thrilled to share highlights from our Student Council election process for 2024-25, held on July 4th, 2024. This election is a key event in our academic calendar, offering students a platform to hone their leadership skills. Our committee of teachers guided candidates through a rigorous selection process, refining their abilities and understanding the community's expectations for student government. The final decision was made democratically by peers in a fair voting process.With 47 nominees from Grades 9, 11, and NIOS vying for 9 positions, excitement is in the air. On July 24th, the Super 100 Live Science Quiz Challenge 2024, hosted by Pupil Saveetha Eco School, ignited scientific curiosity among over 300 participants from more than 20 schools. The event featured a preliminary round, and the top 8 teams elevated the competition with engaging on-stage experiments. An exclusive audience round and passed-over questions allowed non-finalists to shine and be awarded with gifts.Celebrating excellence, PSBB Sr. Sec. School, Nungambakkam bagged up first place,  B.V. Bhavans Rajaji Vidyashram, Kilpauk took second, and The Pupil Saveetha Eco School clinched third.The top 3 teams were honored with books by the Pupil Director Dr Saveetha and Quiz master Mr Berty Ashley .The event was a tremendous success, celebrating innovation and learning. 

This day highlights the environmental impact of plastic bags, urging individuals, communities, and governments worldwide to urgently reduce plastic pollution. It promotes conservation by advocating against plastic bag use and encourages eco-friendly alternatives. Second graders creatively transformed discarded T-shirts into tote bags, broadening their environmental awareness and promoting sustainable practices.
