Field Trip to Swami Vivekananda House by Grade 5 Students

Grade 5 students visited Swami Vivekananda House on 13.03.24 for a field trip in connection with the unit ‘Mind and Body,’ which focuses on wellbeing. They learned about his principles of self-realization, tolerance, and acceptance.  The highlight was students thoroughly enjoying watching virtual reality shows depicting his famous Chicago speech promoting religious harmony.  It was an enlightening experience, with students gaining insights into spiritual well-being through Vivekananda's life and teachings.  The trip proved to be memorable and enriching for all.

Harvesting Knowledge: Pre-KG Farm Exploration at Kuthambakkam

The field trip to the Kuthambakkam farm, as part of our theme "Sharing the Planet," proved to be a delightful and educational adventure for our Pre-KG students on 11.03.24. It provided invaluable insights into farm life and animal care, fostering a love for nature, empathy for animals, and appreciation for farming.  With enhancements for diversified learning activities and improved safety measures, future farm trips hold the potential to further inspire young minds and nurture a deeper connection to the natural world.
